"Let's G---" BANG!
A bullet rung through the air, hitting Koro's left wing and breaking one of the larger bones immediately.
Both wolf and boy started falling fast.

Just as Max was about to fall asleep, he heard the gun shot under the water. He flew up through the water and very gently caught Koro and Hayate. He landed on the pier and set them down gently. He saw Koro had been shot. "Koro, would you like me to heal you?"

Koro started getting up and saying "G-get--aw---!" Another bang pierced the air and struck the boy in the side, slamming him back to hawk form.

"Koro!" Urza grabbed him and flipped him on to her back as she took off running in the opposite direction of the shooter.
"Crap! Must have found out about our location!"

"Wait. I can.." Max turned to the direction of the shooter. 'You are in deep trouble.' A bullet was headed his way, but his aura was protecting him. More bullets came his way but they were deflected to the side. He saw the shooter in the distance and he flew full speed towards the shooter. He disarmed the shooter and grabbed him. Max then flew towards Hayate. "Wait I got him!"

Hayate and the injured Koro were already far out of site, having run off the beach and in to the alley ways of the city streets for walled protection.

Max turned back to his human form and concentrated the light and aura in his legs. He continued to fly high looking downwards for Koro and Hayate. The shooter fainted in his hands from the speed change. Max looked at the city streets. He tried to trace her presence, but he was going very fast. After a few minutes of searching, he found Koro and Hayate running in the alley ways. He flew ahead of them and landed right in front of them.
