Old poem, but I finally got around to uploading it. It's about Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy 7. Five imaginary points to the person who guesses what inspired it. So much has been lost Since our paths have crossed With your bullet I fell For loving that angel Fated to be her demon As I float dreamin' In this Glass Sarcophagus
Tortured for my trust Twisted from your power lust Entwined by experiment To chaotic temperament Losing my mortality Soul gaining duality Becoming the monster envisioned As I was kept imprisoned In this Glass Sarcophagus
Sunset & Sunrise Unseen by my eyes Apparitions take hold As my blood turns cold This broken heart bleeds From my sinful deeds Waiting in this prison cell My own transparent hell In this Glass Sarcophagus
In her mournful crying She made me undying Love was her lament As it is my sacrament Now as these eyes turn red I swear to see you dead Your curse is my gift Unspoken as I drift In this Glass Sarcophagus
My freedom draws near I can smell it in your fear Gaze into eyes of the Beast You are to be the sacrificial feast Look at Valentine's Red Death Suffer under Cerberus' fiery breath Now it will be repented As your undoing fermented In this Glass Sarcophagus

Lulz.
Nope.
It's a TINY bit deeper than that, has to do with a location.

A glass desert, frosted over by the cruel Nuclear Mistress.

And NOPE yet again.
It's obvious if you've ever played "Dirge of Cerberus".

Is it him in the basement and even though he has imprisoned himself in that room in the Sarcophagus he still knows what is going on in the outside world?

Oh is this the story of how he became what he is....maybe he was shot and almost died and so people experimented on him to save his life....and then more...the glass coffin is the chamber in which kept him alive....and he is either speaking of his lover or mother
