The dockyards are a dangerous locale even during the daylight, and for civilians to venture there after nightfall is near suicidal. Though the nearby port is respectable enough, the docks are home to all manner of pick pockets, muggers, pirates and worse, and the occasional mysterious disappearance could probably be attributed to prowling monsters in the shadows...if you believe such sailor stories, anyway.

Quite a bit of time had passed since his visit to Rome in search of a certain priest, but still no leads had appeared to give back any memories. So now he was in London. How, one might ask? After all this man hardly possessed any money of his own. Well, from a dock at an Italian port he had seen a ship with a porthole window to th inside. Using his gift of teleportation the ship had been infiltrated easily & the rest of a long journey went without any incident.
Upon reaching port here, he had recently telported off the ship to a location within visual range of the ship. Now he currently wandered the docks with a golden Halo floating about him. One that talked and had a pervy personality named Lancelot. Unfotunately for Raijin who only spoke Japanese. . .this object was the only means by which he could be translated until he learned english.

It had been years since Gabriel had been back to his home country. He had always just focused on each of his assignments and kept 'home' in the back of his mind. In fact, he had almost forgotten where he came from. He grew up in this city. Yet none of these memories seemed to sway how he felt overall.
Gabriel stood still as he scanned the docks. Looking at each ship and each small boat with a blank expression. It seemed as though none of it even mattered to him. He slowly closed his eyes and raised his head to smell the fish scented air then lowered his face and proceeded forward with his hands in his pockets.

Raijin continued his own walk of the docks, looking around as the Halo floated just above his head on purpose. Likely a practical joke to make any on-lookers think the Asian was either an Angel or merely impersonating one. No real ability to sense strong auras existed within the young man, but it did with Lancelot. So when Gabriel was within range of his 'Divine Radar' the talking Halo whispered to the Teleporter what he knew.
"Be ready for anything in London Mr. Roboto, all kinds of supernatural guys like to wander around here. We won't be the only ones with powers. Just like the werewolf that's walking around these docks somewhere. Try not to cross him incase he's the type who can transform at will."
The one who looked like he belonged in a J-rock band simply kept on walking.

Gabriel's right ear twitched a little, tuning into the voice in the distance. The young mutt was aware from the beginning he was not alone yet now he sensed a different presence.
"No bother," he whispered to himself as he approached a ship then looked up. "Hmm.."
He scanned the side of the ship, scaling it. Gabriel latched onto the rope tie and proceeded upwards slowly. He reached the top and hopped onto the ships deck, dusting himself off afterwards. His eyes scrutinized the environment and he squinted them, then two quite large fuzzy ears replaced the human ones, tuning in for any noises among the ship. They twitched a little, scanning the area, twitching turning to the right and to the left. Then just as easily as before, the ears almost instantly and easily were human ears once again.
Gabriel walked forward, "I wonder if this abandoned vessel has any food that has yet to rot or been taken by rodents. Though, a rodent or two wouldn't turn my stomach."

"Well would you look at that Mr. Roboto. . . someone's boarding a ship the hard way."
"Stop calling me that."
The first voice spoke perfect english while the other spoke in perfect Japanese, yet both understood eachother. After his comment to Lancelot, the brown-eyed youth looked over to the ship aand watched as Gabriel climbed the rope. What were they looking for on that ship? Raijin did not have super-human hearing, so he did not get to hear the comment about searching for food.
Deciding his search for clues to a past he could not remember was not going all that well right now anyway. Besides, something upon the abandoned ship might trigger some sort of memory if he were lucky. In the blink of an eye he had vanished from the dock with absolutely no trace left behind. And should Gabriel decide to look toward his left, about ten feet away Raijin would be standing there alone as Lancelot started to catch up.
He was looking right at Gabriel with a stoic expression.

His hand came to his head, scratching it. He shrugged and came to a stack of crates. His large hand rested on top of one of the crates as he carefully sniffed the air. Sifting through all the smells.. and all the.. odors.
Gabriel shook his head and searched the other crates then suddenly came to a stop. His head slowly turned towards the guest. The mutt stared towards him blankly then simply turned away, continuing on with his search through the crates. His arms knocked crates over so he could search the ones stuck behind them. Gabriel whimpered softly and raised his head to look at the sky.
"Can I help you?" He asked in the direction towards the stranger, keeping his head angled towards the cosmos.

"Hello. What is your name? Do you recognize me at all?"
Were the words calmy spoken to Gabriiel, unfortunately it was in the language of japanese which the Werewolf might not understand. Lancelot showed up shortly afterward, to float a few inches above the head of his partner. But he had not been around for the conversation which meant that he did not know there was a need to translate anything at all.
So right now. . .Gabriel was possibly dealing with a teleporting angel.

Gabriel lowered his head and stared blankly at the stranger. Then he glanced over at the floating, glowing donut. Or was his mind playing tricks on him? With Gabriel being as hungry as he was, he couldn't differentiate between fantasy and reality all too well at the moment.
"Are you from the organization? Are you here to give me my next assignment. I've been quite bored since i finished my last assignment and I would enjoy something to do.." the words flowed out in his fluent British accent. "Well come one now, mate. I'm waiting."
His body stayed still with the exact same blank expression.

A talker eh?
He was doomed.
"Why yes I'm from the Organization lad. And just as luck would have it we are here to give you that next assignment! Now are you listening closely? Ok then. Your mission, if you choose to accept it which you'll do to avoid further boredom. . . is to escort this poor non-english speaking dope around London for a few days. The goal is to keep him alive until he leaves considering how unstable this city has become with so many strange customers."
The glowing doughnut that could talk had a mind of his on and could get away with quite a few things. Why? Raijin could not speak any english to protest the arrangement set up for lies. Not only were they getting a bodyguard, but for free until they left London! Why not indfinately? Lancelot had his doubts about being able to keep up the little ruse until then. So unless Gabriel had the smarts to catch on. . . he would be stuck babysitting someone he did not actually have to at all.

Gabriel raised his hand to his chin and thought. He pondered for a second. A talking dough nut? How would have thought? Of course, Gabriel was raised through the organization quite well. the mutt was smarter than the dough nut gave him credit for.
"The organization does not ask any of us to babysit, you dim wit. I am not a baby sitter. I am a highly trained assassin. Do not test me." His head canted to the right. Then, light bulb, idea. "Though, in exchange for food, I will gladly guide your friend through the city and if necessary, keep him alive if called for. Is that a deal, mate?"
He crossed his arms across his chest and waited for Mr. Dough Nut's response.

Kaori flicked her tail bordly as she watched the two from from atop one of the many piled crates. She wasn't near enough to be noticed, but close enough to be able to evesdrop if she felt the conversation was interresting enough. It usually wasn't, but there were days when she got lucky.
Bordom She thought to herself. Idly twilling one of her daggers in her hand.

Gabriel blinked, instantly coming out of his trance, raising his nose into the air, he sniffed around quite a bit. His head turned from side to side and he began to pace back and forth. The trusty nose sniffed a feline. A fine feline.
"Feh.." the mutt's nose wrinkled a little and his body became very stiff, his head turned in the felines direction. Gabriel kept the same blank expression on his face. Simply staring as what seemed empty, clear air.. but held that damn feline. Out of sight but not out of smell..

The tiniest of smiles crept over Kaori's face. But then there had been a glowing dounet and she was hungry. She shifted slightly, proping her head up on her hands and pearing over the side of the crate. One of her ears twitched slightly, capturing a sound off in the water that was slightly out of place but posed no great concern.
Fish. The sound was a fish, though why it would want to swim near here where it would inevitebly be caught was past her. Food was something that was always on her mind just because she burned so many calories that she could put the hot dog eating champion to shame.

The mutt slowly crept forward. His senses entirely locked onto his feline conquest. Slowly, he came to the edge of the vessel, still far from it yet perhaps a little closer. He shut his eyes and sniffed the air once again. The canine in him was showing a tad more.
Gabriel's ear slightly twitched, tuning in for any little sound the feline would make. He was waiting for her to come closer. So he could get a good look at it. It had been awhile since he had come in contact with his natural born enemy. The mutt's upper body leaned over the side of the ship slightly in anticipation..
