"Coffee please." Motoko then looks at the knife. "I have seen many knives in my lifetime, but never one quite like that before. Did you make that yourself?"

"Yes I made. One sec I'll get the coffee. You can see it if you want." Michael sets his knife down and heads to his cabin. He returns quickly with fresh Jamaican coffee. "I think you'll like this coffee." Michael pours a cup of coffee for Motoko. "Yeah I made the knife. I used carbon6 steel for the blade."

"Thank you." She takes the coffee and lets it cool down about. " I have never heard of Carbon 6 Steel. Where did you come by it?"

"Well its a steel compound that that allows this knife to be extremely durable and sharp. You would melt down the steel while adding certain isotopes of carbon. There are certain ways to distribute the carbon to acquire different properties of the weapon you are tryin to make. This is common in many Japanese swords. If you get I chance I can show you an L-6 Bainite sword. Tis the ideal when you want a good samurai sword.

"Interesting, but I already have a few them in my private collection, including my favorite the sakabato, which i started using as of late, and which an old friend of mine had used when the end of the Bakumatsu, bless his soul." Motoko then takes a sip of the coffee. "This is indeed good coffee. So, what were you doing before you came to this place?"

"Not very good things. I used to be a man out for blood so to speak. Killin off corrupt individuals and what not. You could say I was a self employed merc.. if there is such a thing. Anyways that is in the past now. Now I own a forge and minster the Word of the Lord to my customers." Michael took a look at the scars across both of his hands and thought about the ones that cover his body. "Yet these serve as a reminder of many years of pain and injustice."

"So we both share a common profession in the past, and in a way, we both still share the same profession, but just chose a diffrent path of it." Motoko takes another sip. "So what is it that you forge?"

"I create swords, knives, shields, bo-staffs, shurikens that can be used in heavy battle. My forge is next to my cabin and three times as big and yeah it's filled with martial art weapons utility weapons. Sometimes I make barrels for guns and bullets... Now that I think about it, basically if someone wants me to make something. I hand-make it with the ideal materials depending on what is and its use. If I think back, I have even made pipes.. Wow, I'm rambling. Would you like to see it?"

"I can only find that ironic. A preacher that makes tools for killing. You don't see that very offtin." Motoko finishes her coffee. "but I would also like to see your shop."

"None of my customers ever used the weapons I made to kill. They like martial arts or they use the weapons for utility, but I never judge." Michael gets and walks to the Forge. "Welcome to the Phoenix Forge." Michael takes out his keys and unlocks the door. "This is it. Come on in." Weapons of different types hung very organized on the walls. "The entry section's like a museum of sorts but you can actually try the weapons if you want."

Motoko looks around at all the diffrent weapons. She then stops and looks very carefully at a Katana that looked familure to her. "Mind my asking, but this particular Katana has a dark aura comming from it. How did that happen?"

"Very odd. I know every sword that I have either made bought or sold. Never have I had anything like this. Unless... nope. How it got here I don't know. Pick it up if you wish. Wait the aura don't feel right." Michael looked at the sword carefully. "You know what it is?"

"I have come accross this aura before, but that was around three hundred years ago, and I thought that the people that emited that aura were gone. But it would appear that some have survived."

"This aura doesn't seem very welcoming. You think I should throw it out?" Michael studied the sword then picked it up. His hands started to burn, but he payed no attention to it. "One second." Michael took the sword outside and thrust it into the ground. "What are you? You seem very familiar and different at the same time."

Motoko following Michael, "I could be wrong, but the sword could be vessel for a spirit from the clan of people that died out. One of their members could be regreting something and just haven't left this world yet."
